Emily Palmier, MS, CCC-SLP, MT-BC is a classically-trained harpist based in San Diego,California. She started playing the harp at the age of 11 years old studying under Ellen Heinecke Foster. Ms.Palmier spent her summers studying harp at various summer music festivals: Young Artists Harp Seminar, Eastern Music Festival, Saratoga Harp Colony, and Interlochen Arts Camp. She continued her studies of harp at Florida State University where she studied under Mary Brigid Roman earning her Bachelor of Music degrees in both Harp Performance and Music Therapy. Ms. Palmier provides beautiful music for weddings, funerals, parties or other special events. She owns two harps for special events: a concert grand pedal harp as featured in the picture on the right and a carbon-fiber lever harp (smaller black harp) for outdoor events. In addition to her musical pursuits, Ms. Palmier holds a Masters of Science degree from Florida State University in Communication Sciences and Disorders .She currently practices as a pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist.
